Also referred to as

R.E.S.T.
(Restricted Environmental Stimulation Therapy)

We have the only float tank in Upstate, South Carolina!!

There are many reasons people use floatation therapy.........  to de-stress, detoxify, solidify hypnotherapy sessions, decrease chronic pain, and enhance meditation, to name a few.

Scientists estimate that up to 90% of the brain's normal workload is engaged by the effects of routine environmental stimulation combined with the effects of gravity, temperature, touch, light and sound on the muscular, cardiovascular and  nervous systems of the body, as well as the sensory organs.

The float tank screens out these external physical stimuli, creating a pure state of "sensory" relaxation. Under these unique conditions, your body has a chance to restore its natural powers of self-regulation, while you simply lie back and rediscover the latent abilities of a deeply relaxed mind. Many people also find that gentle, ambient music accelerates and intensifies the relaxation process.

Upon entering the float tank, you will be floating in 10 inches of water and 1,000 pounds of Epsom salt. This is a 20% solution. A solution at this density allows your body to float much like a cork. The tank is also enclosed, so no outside stimuli will bother your relaxation.  There is nothing quite like this worderfully relaxing experience!!

While most individuals float without clothing, for your comfort you may wear a swim suit or undergarment which is white in color (without dyes). Colored material may affect the delicate ecological balance maintained within the tank.  A shower and toiletries are furnished for your convenience, as well.
